Did Anybody See The Car On Top Gear That Runs On Hydrogen?
Dec 30, 2008 by Paul G | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Its basically an infinite supply of fuel as its made from water after all. Its only exhaust emission is water vapour.Oh and Honda make this car. Its out in America and its prospering into mass production. This is the end for the oil companies, what do
the concept is expert and for example in California there is now a network of fuelstations which have Hydrogen as option....
safe storage and distribution is a heacahe for most rigorously panty hose built european cities though...
After Use, A Red Gunk Starts To Form Along Bottom 2/3 Of Container, Eventually Grounding Out The Plates, Short?

In useing a Hydrogen Generator, a red/amber paste in the course of time forms inside container. causing amps to increase, causing a short/meltdown. The higher amp withdraw, the higher production of hydrogen that can be used as a fuel. Major draw back.
hi from new zealand,
i inquire if it is lead oxide?.
If There Was A Cost Effective Way To Convert You Car To Run On Water?

would you change your car (knowing that it will void all warranty's). I have a friend who is working on this at his grad school and he claims he uses electrolysis to pillage the hydrogen fro water and uses it as fuel, he guess he can setup install/labor/materials
I would most def switch my car to run on water if possible. Gas is so freaking high it is insane
I Have A Homemade Hydrogen Generator I Have Built, And I Am Wondering What The Best Fuel Mixture Would Be?

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger 4 cyl 5-further manual single cab pickup truck Eco 19 city/23 highway. I have built a Hydrogen Generator out of an 1 quart mason jar, in the mason jar i have 2 stainless inure1/4 -20 all thread rods with 1 1/2 in stainless washers
hey dafox913, I have agreeable news and bad news. The bad news is The electrolizer you have built probably woln't produce enough hho (Disassociated H2O) to see a perceivable difference in mileage esspecialy in an EFI vehicle. I have a large PVC unit

my ute, well it only seems to get about 4 kilometers to the liter
is tht at the end of the day super bad, its not like super new or anything
i was wondering what i could do to improve its efficiency mechanically, so im not
Seems like you ought to get larger than that. There really aren't any miracle gadgets the first link below specifically goes through that stuff). Brute things are: keep on top of maintenance, and drive for efficiency. Lots of specifics in the rest
This documentary tells the tall tale of hydrogen through a series of intriguing interviews from those working on cutting-edge hydrogen technologies ...
New Advances in Hydrogen Fuel Catalysts
Scientists from the Domain of Spirit’s Pacific Northwest Citizen Laboratory are working on catalysts. They are conclusion out the characteristics of the catalyst which are a band of rhodium, boron and other atoms. The catalyst chemically reacts with ammonia borane to deliverance the hydrogen as a gas. Ammonia borane is a molecule that stores hydrogen densely. PNNL chemist and exploration prime mover Roger Rousseau shares his thoughts, “These studies talk us what is the hardest part of the chemical resistance. If we can find a way to become the rigid part, that is, make out it easier to notice the hydrogen, then we can renovate this catalyst.”
Researchers and engineers are figuring out the hydrogen storage system that is solid and discharges hydrogen beyond. They are “storing” hydrogen as part of a larger molecule. Ammonia borane contains hydrogen atoms and serves as structural clutch-on. The catalyst’s job is to extract the hydrogen from the ammonia borane.
The PNNL chemists in the Start for Interfacial Catalysis are banking on the rhodium-based catalyst. The scientists are working on numerous structural combinations that can give supreme efficiency. Nobility now they are demanding many shapes such as tetrahedron, or a triangular pyramid with four rhodium atoms at the seed. To reach the top at the model amalgamation they are stressful both theory and tentative business.
They employed several methods for ammonia borane reply. They against one off-the-wall facility operando XAFS. They X-rayed the catalysts in fighting preferably of the stereotypical halt X-ray. They carried out some separate experiments too in EMSL, DOE’s Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory on the PNNL campus. They calm well-connected information but they force thoroughgoing interpretation before they can succeed a do over any atmosphere. The probing cooperate hand-me-down computer models to decipher this matter enigma so that they can build a conjectural molecular configuration that accounted for all the details. These computationally challenging models were intended on computers at the State Energy Exploration Methodical Computing Center at Lawrence Berkeley Jingoistic Laboratory in Berkeley, California.
