I have a 1998 ford econovan 2lt carby mock-up it returns me between 19.5 and 22.5 lts per hundred. I had the gas fitted 15 months ago when the car had only 28,000 kilometres on the clock it now has 52,000 and the fuel consumption seem to be getting worse

I have an 06 F250 with a 6.0 L diesel and don't get much fuel economy. I don't demand to put a chip in it because I don't think it wil;l help the fuel economy and may void the warranty.

A directions transmission will last way longer than an automatic. It has less wear item parts.
Automatics will give you a little better mileage if you push like an old lady and do not use the tip tronic.
