this is on a chinese made utv. the mechanism overheats bit when i touch the radiator it is still cool.

yes it has a thermostat, supplant it and your problem should be solved.

my compatriot has a late model ford probe which had many leaks and milky oil he purchase water glass from a druggist's and now drive the car without an oil change.he checked the milky oil after some drive time and the oil was clean.

Vinegar would be impotent. The best thing to clean salt water off is fresh water. You'd probably need distilled water in your discovery since local fresh water is probably full of minerals.

I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 that overheats, and I come up with the water pump or a hose is leaking coolant ... but for now, I was wondering if it was okay to put water in there, as I know there is some coolant left so the combination should end up as 50/50.
