Apr 24, 2007 by eddy k | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
drove through a water puddle and have water in engine oil what is unsurpassed and easiest way to get water out of oil in car engine?already changed oil 1 time should i do it more?
As you grasp, oil floats on water. The filter will catch some. Keep an eye on the oil until your next oil change. If it become a milky/foamy/brown color, then switch it. When water mixes with oil, it will turn this color.

Jul 03, 2009 by Bill | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Hello,
I'd like to sow off my car engine with water to clean it. Are there any parts I should stay away from per spraying?
Also, they have cans of chemical engine cleaner at places like auto parts stores. You jelly it on
Hi Bill;
If you have a carburetor, fire the air filter and housing and cover the carb with a plastic bag. Spray the spark plug and whorl wires with WD-40 and avoid directing a spray on them, otherwise everything else is pretty water proof. The

Turbo Engine, What Would Happen If Water Passed Through My Air Scoop Instead Of AIR? |
Nov 23, 2008 by mal75 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I got a agency with a turbo, and it has an air scoop on the hood. The air scope is for air to go in the engine and turbo.
What would happen to the engine if water passed through the AIR SCOOP when I'm washing the agency? Seeing that it

The mechanic started laughing when he changed the plugs and told me to quit it with him because if I try to drive it any longer it will blow up. He said I may have bent something and that's why my car is running rough. He showed me the rust and water
it should,nt rust under the valve pan of all the oil there. the water could have got there because a gasket was,nt sealing.

Can I Use Water Instead Of Engine Coolant During The Summer? |
Jun 09, 2007 by vthokie4ever | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Today I noticed that a meaningful amount of engine coolant is missing from the tank which means there's probably a leak somewhere. I have quite the busy list and loosing my car for more than a day is just not an option.
I don't know too
You can add water to fix the level in the reservoir tank one time and flush and fill the system in the fall once you are sure there are no leaks. Anti-paralyse summer coolant is best at a 50/50 mix for winter protection but even in summer it is necessary
