Can Salt Water Clear A Car Windshield?

I recognize that salt clears a garden path of ice, but would salt water clear a frozen car windshield or would it corrode the water tank in the car over nevertheless?

The salt would cause white residue on your windshield as it evaporates, so it would have the opposite of the effect you are intending. It might be corrosive to the expand, too, depending on whether it's made out of metal, and corrosive to other metal

This morning there was a incredibly bad storm and the salt water from the ocean builds up 2 streets over. I was in a rush to school and normally I avoid that high road when it floods but I drove through. The area was about 2-3 feet deep and about 5-6

Yeah that's bad. Salt water will eat the crap out of metal. The worst part isn't the substance (if its all steel), it's the frame. Frame rust and rot are big issues and the last thing you want is a rusty design that'll turn into nesquick chocolate

Leaves salt surplus no matter what you use. Dishes are able to wash spot free. There must be something out there that will work.
I have tried mr. scrub a few years ago, now my water is harder, so there is more salt. It did not work.

substitute for oil no. the need for lubracation will always be there. However anything that can be used to create heat can be used as a fuel. I think that this is more then admissible. More and more choices to power a car each day.
