Does Anyone Know How To SAFELY Remove Hard Water Spots From Car Windows And Door?

I have hard water spots on my car window and door and its almost unrealizable to remove! I've tried vinegar and thought it fades them, I can still see the spots! Does anyone have any ideas?
I old CLR for the windows but it might be too strong for the paint on the door!!! I also used a carpeter's razor to get hold of the a few of them!!!

We have hard water and when I channel the car the windshield and the other windows all have water spots that are almost impossible to get off. I would be thankful for any help.
bid RainEx or a similar product to your windshield and the water should "bead" right off. absorb any that stays with a papertowel asap.

it's very viable that the sun has etched the water into the glass and you will end up replacing the windshield but before you do that try 000 steel wool to take them out, if it doesn't take them out nothing will, and don't be anxious of it scratching

It sounds like you are true about the hard water spots. What you can do is buy a pruduct called Scratch-x. it a an extremly mild scratch remover that will take off the hard water spots. you can also use a clay bar to liquidate the hard water spots. the
