Hubby is disquieting to change the water pump on our GMC Jimmy. He cannot get the fan off to access the water pump. What is the trick here? He's trying to do more of the maintenance on our cars to spare $$$$ --but it sure is a bear!

bad water expand. I'm guessing the "third pully" is the water pump. They're designed so that if the inner seal fails they'll ooze through a hole (weep hole) in the pump as an idicator. Cheap and Easy fix.

I have a 2001 GMC jimmy 4d and I am planning on giving the whole inside of my car a shampoo. There has been vitality,soda,water,alcohol and other liquid spills inside. I want to give it a super cleaning on the advantageous before I take it to get fixed.
